Privacy notice
Updated October 2, 2026
This notice describes how Aestor processes personal information through its website and services. For privacy questions or requests, contact sales@aestor.ai.
Demo requests
We collect the business contact details, company information and optional responses you submit to arrange demonstrations and follow up. A demo request does not create a product account.
Information we process
We process account details, workspace memberships, project and estimate records, uploaded files and chats to provide the service. Service usage records support operation, security and billing.
Cookies and browser storage support sign-in, preferences and local recovery. Chats are saved to your account within each workspace; locally stored chats require confirmation before account saving. We use analytics services to measure website usage.
Your workspace
Your organization controls workspace membership and permissions. Only submit information you are authorized to provide and process. Project files are available to workspace members; source-system permissions do not carry over to imported copies. Workspace content supports estimates, comparisons, search and AI answers.
Optional connected files
Where enabled, connections use account information and access credentials to import selected files. Google Drive access is limited to files you select, without modifying originals. Copies, extracted text and metadata are stored in your project; later source changes do not update those copies. Stored access credentials are encrypted.
Disconnect and remove deletes imported copies and access credentials, with retry instructions for failures, and requests Google access revocation. Revoking access at Google alone does not delete Aestor copies. Use of Google data is subject to the Google API Services User Data Policy.
AI processing
AI features send relevant prompts, workspace data and document passages to AI services to fulfil your requests. Our standard AI processing requires zero data retention and prohibits provider data collection, including training.
Provider retention controls do not delete your saved Aestor chats, files or service records. Aestor does not use Google API data to train generalized AI models.
Optional shared market metrics
Contribution is off by default. Owners or administrators may opt in to share sector, U.S. state, completion year, area rounded to 500 square feet and cost per square foot rounded to $5 from eligible completed or locked USD projects. Shared metrics exclude names, addresses, documents, chats and individual cost lines.
Results require at least five projects from three other eligible workspaces, excluding workspaces the reader can access. Opting out removes contribution records and excludes them from future results. These safeguards reduce, but cannot eliminate, identification risk. Imported files are not shared, although opted-in project totals may reflect imported evidence.
Storage, retention and your choices
We use service providers for authentication, storage, hosting, analytics and AI processing. Access controls restrict workspace data; no system can guarantee absolute security. We may disclose information as required by law or as reasonably necessary to prevent abuse, enforce agreements or protect rights and safety.
Records are retained for service delivery, security, legal and dispute-resolution needs. Administrators can export available records; owners can delete workspace records in Settings. Deletion does not immediately erase all files, backups, service logs or third-party copies, or rewrite previous answers and costs.
Chat deletion removes saved messages. Local recovery copies, source documents and work in progress are separate. You control downloaded exports and browser copies, which may remain until cleared or synchronized.
Subject to applicable law and identity verification, you may request access, correction or deletion by contacting sales@aestor.ai or your workspace administrator. Legal obligations and the rights of others may limit requests. This notice does not limit rights under applicable law. Updates will be posted here with a revised date, with additional notice where required.
